Albania/ Bakaj and Januzaj hit the target | ||||
|
This past weekend the Ukrainian League kicked off and two of our Albanian players there decided to score their first goal of the season. Elis Bakaj played from start yesterday when Chornomorets visited Sevastopol. The guests were given a penalty in minute 39 which Bakaj got to take and he made no mistake getting the ball into the net. However Sevastopol scored the equalizer only four minutes later and the game ended 1-1. Bakaj was substituted out with only five minutes left of the game and a couple minutes earlier he had also picked up a yellow card. His team mate Kristi Vangjeli was left on the bench during the entire game. Just like Bakaj, Ahmed Januzi became the first goalscorer of the season for his team when Vorskla Poltava beat Karpaty away (0-2). He was on their XI together together with Armend Dallku and the duo was happy to celebrate Vorskla's first goal in the 22nd minute that turned out to be an own goal by the home team. Only two minutes later Dallku was awarded his first yellow card and the score was 1-0 to Vorskla during half time. But it only took Januzi five minutes of the second half to score the final goal, his first of the season and he was replaced in the 80th minute. Next game for Vorskla is played this Sunday and they will visit Bakaj's and Vangjeli's team Chornomorets. Kosovare Mezini Set as favorite Bookmark Email this Hits: 15431 |
